About Colorado Massage Company

Haley Bangert

Founder, LMT, Prenatal & Perinatal Massage Specialist, Massage Educator

I’m Haley Bangert, a board-certified and licensed massage therapist, pre- and perinatal massage specialist, massage therapy instructor, student, and mother. My work is rooted in integrative, individualized bodywork with a focus on maternal health, nervous system regulation, and long-term physical well-being.

My path into the wellness field began early. I was diagnosed with a nervous system disorder at the age of eight and spent much of my childhood in medical settings. Those experiences shaped my understanding of how deeply personalized, attentive care can impact the body, and they sparked my interest in holistic, patient-centered approaches to healing.

In 2016, I began studying Integrative Healthcare at Metropolitan State University of Denver. I later graduated from the Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy in Longmont, Colorado, where I trained under mentor and industry leader Jill Berkana. During my education, I developed a deep respect for the role of therapeutic touch in supporting the nervous system, restoring balance, and helping people feel more at home in their bodies. Massage became a foundational tool in my own healing and reconnection to my body, and ultimately the work I felt called to share with others.

My transition into maternal care began during my own pregnancy. As I started studying women’s health and prenatal massage, I became increasingly aware of how difficult it was to find skilled, qualified bodywork for pregnant people. That gap in care deeply informed the direction of my practice. Shortly after my daughter was born, I was introduced to Michele Holland and expanded my education in prenatal and perinatal massage under her guidance, alongside the teachings of Carole Osborne, pioneers in natal massage education and research.

Since then, I have continued to refine my work through advanced education focused on the lumbar spine, low back, psoas, pelvic tissues, and postpartum recovery. My practice now centers on supporting people through pregnancy, postpartum, and the long-term physical shifts that accompany these transitions, with care that is informed, intentional, and responsive to the whole body.

In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a core instructor at the Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy, where I teach Massage Therapy Foundations II and Prenatal Massage. Teaching allows me to share my passion for bodywork, education, and maternal health while helping future therapists develop both technical skill and a deep respect for the responsibility of therapeutic touch.

Colorado Massage Company was founded in 2019 with the intention of creating a therapeutic environment that supports both immediate relief and long-term well-being. My work is grounded in the belief that when individuals feel supported in their bodies, that care ripples outward into families and communities. I’m committed to ongoing education and to offering bodywork that is thoughtful, effective, and rooted in respect for every body I work with. I believe deeply in the power of touch as a tool for regulation, connection, and healing, and I’m grateful to share this work with my community.
